LONG BEACH, Calif., Spring 2004 -- Bravo Productions, and award-winning, full-service event planning and production company has added to its operation by opening regional offices in the Pacific Northwest, Las Vegas and the Rocky Mountain. Headquartered in Southern California, Bravo Productions is known for staging high-level corporate functions nationwide to support their clients' strategic media and marketing campaigns.
The Pacific Northwest operation will serve the greater Seattle, Puget Sound and Vancouver, British Columbia areas. In addition to working with the corporate and association markets, this location also will handle private parties, social occasions, weddings and charity events. "Each year, we receive more and more calls for our services in Washington and the Pacific Northwest," said Thom Neighbors, partner of Bravo Productions. "In addition to staging corporate functions and private parties, we have government contracts that can be better fulfilled and expanded by taking a more prominent local presence."
Devi Watson, who has worked in state government, and has served as a freelance event and party planner, will oversee the Pacific Northwest operation. "Devi is just a dynamo and perfect for this position. She's able to quickly extinguish a fire like a forest ranger; has organizational skills like a human resource manager, and has a sense of flair for detail, textures and colors like a diva of style," said Neighbors.
Las Vegas is one of the world's most attractive destinations, and Bravo Productions has worked extensively in the city -- primarily with a client who participates in the annual Comdex trade show. The Las Vegas operations will target conventions, trade shows and corporate functions. Bob Estrin, a 25-year industry veteran will serve as the company's representative in this territory.
In 2003, Las Vegas played host to 24,463 conventions and the economic impact was estimated at $6.5 billion. "The potential in Vegas is huge," said Neighbors.
The Rocky Mountain office represents a distinct departure. "It's our boutique operation," said Neighbors. Conveniently situated between Albuquerque and Taos, New Mexico to the south and Colorado Springs and Denver to the north, this office will focus on smaller corporate and association groups, who are interested in more outdoor recreational activities, weekend retreats, sightseeing tours and incentive meetings. Patty Kinder, who formerly served as office manager and event associate at Bravo Productions headquarters has relocated and will be in charge of this operation. "The area is rich with more than 1100 years of history, culture, ancient society, art, Old West towns and the true spirit of the Southwest," said Neighbors.
"The expansion program has been a 2-year endeavor, but a labor of love," said Greg Jenkins, partner of Bravo Productions. "We also believe that establishing a presence in cities that are only a 45-minute to 2-hour flight from our headquarters is ideal and smart business. It has endless possiblities and creates many new opportunities."
